OUR APPROACH TO POLARITY

 

Polarity Therapy is an all encompassing approach to healing. It ranges from the importance of the health and wellbeing of the physical body, through to the importance of right thinking and acting in the world which leads to emotional balance which in turn leads to greater self understanding and knowledge of the part we play in the great scheme of things.

KNOWLEDGE BASE

Our particular emphasis in the Distance learning Programme that we offer is the sharing of our in depth theoretical knowledge about the work of Dr Stone and his successor Pierre Pannetier gained after over 20 years of practice and teaching. As well as giving clear instruction in the theoretical basis and practical application of the myriad of bodywork techniques that have been handed down to us. We share a wealth of understanding about both fundamental and advanced therapeutic skills and a naturalistic approach to healing.

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

In the Individual training we are able to share more of our personal passion about the work and its development. On this training you have a choice of emphasis either relating to hands-on bodyworks skills and the other to the esoteric roots of Polarity Therapy or a blend of both.

DISTANCE LEARNING

We believe that distance learning and e-learning programmes are really the wave of the future for bodywork trainings. They offer unique advantages in terms of accessiblity and the possibility of studying for a new career alongside your current work as well as giving students the opportunity to retrain and review all the training materials in depth at any time. Begun in 1999 this training track has evolved into a high level training of which we are very proud.

SKILL

We passionately believe in high quality bodywork skills. Skills that involve the use of specific harmonic techniques to free the body of restrictions and holding, highly sensitive qualities of touch to elicit varying responses and to convey specific information as well as the sensitivity to receive the body's response. We know that the posture of the body holds the pattern of a person's life and their emotional responses to it. Specialised ways of reading the body and then releasing it from the grip of the past moves a person into a future of freedom and pleasure.

ESOTERIC POLARITY HEALING

Our other emphasis is on the esoteric roots of Polarity. For the seeker, Polarity is steeped in esoteric symbols and clues as to the true nature of the human being and the perfection of what Dr. Stone called the diamond soul. Armed with these insights and knowledge we can become modern temple builders following in the footsteps of the adepts of old.
