Still Amazed

Posted by admin on May 24, 2013

GrumpyMan polarity therapy sessionI am still, after all these years periodically amazed at what Polarity Therapy can do. How something so seemingly simple can, with skilled application, yield immediate and lasting relief. Take Mr X who came to see me suffering with lower back and sacral pain, bloating, indigestion and pain in his right shoulder which kept him awake at night.

Integrated Bodywork

Posted by admin on April 29, 2013

polarity therapy blogJust recently I have noticed the term 'integrated bodywork' is becoming more and more popular as many practitioners study different systems of bodywork and find that they use an amalgam of these different ways of working on the body and therefore no longer wish to be identified with only one mode of practice. It occurred to me that Polarity Therapy was one of the original forms of integrated bodywork drawing on the disciplines of osteopathy, chiropractic, zone therapy combined with eastern and western energy theories. Yet another example of Dr Stone being ahead of his time. It really is a shame that Polarity Therapy is not more widely practiced as it really does give you just about everything you need in order to become an accomplished practitioner of energy medicine and a skilled and effective bodyworker.

There were pipe bands, antique tractors, custom cars, motor bikes, lots of children and most of the clubs and businesses in the town put in an appearance as well.

The Eyes of Anaskwa by David Kala Ka La

This is a highly unusual story, fundamentally spiritual in nature, filled with reflections and observations on the ways of those on the path, and some of the ways of the earth and the universe in which we live. With echoes of Herman Hesse and Carlos Castaneda this is a mythic tale of reality told by a master story teller with quotes from ancient spiritual books that serve to both intrigue and illustrate the teachings within its pages.  Recommended

Review of the Year

Posted by admin on January 14, 2013

As we begin 2013 I find myself looking back over the last year. 2012 was a full year for us and we sensed an upsurge of energy as people started to pull themselves out of the doldrums of the economic recession. We were delighted to have students from Norway, Switzerland, Belgium,Sweden. the UK and of course Ireland coming to continue and in some cases finish their training with us.
