In modern times with the proliferation of books and large group workshops there has been something of an information explosion but what has been lost is the traditional form in which most esoteric, spiritual and shamanic teaching that was offered in ancient times. This traditional format was the master and apprentice relationship. I am committed to offering the Hawaiian huna mua teaching, as far as possible, in this its original style of presentation.

The training that I offer has a number of different stages.
Firstly, we offer a book on the teaching which is entitled The Power of Love, a Guide to Consciousness and Change (available both in hardcopy and electronic e-book format) this gives an excellent overview of the system, and includes many helpful exercises.
Secondly, we offer a series of eighteen ninety minute audio lectures (now on DVD called HUNA DECODED) covering the system in greater depth.
You must begin with the book and audio lectures, all potential apprentices begin with these and they are available to anyone.
The next stage is to attend a three to five day individual experience with me where, you work with me one on one as a preparatory step towards your apprenticeship. The focus in this process is to answer all your questions, teach you the history of the system and help you to apply the teaching to change your own life so as to make it as happy and fruitful as possible. Some chose to go no further than this and they may repeat this particular individual experience as often as they wish or need.
Training as a full apprentice requires further one to one contact. The minimum length of time is 35 days of one to one experience. The final week of each of the apprentice trainings is done on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i and includes an initiation as a kahuna of the ohana (extended family) of Huna Mua.

The ongoing work is usually done in one or two week blocks. They are normally spread out over a minimum one year period. Other time structuring is possible. In some cases apprentices may need further training to reach the desired level of skill and understanding. There is no automatic acceptance for apprenticeship as not everyone is able to cope with the demands of the experience.
The fees for the books, audiotapes and the individual experience days are non-negotiable but prospective apprentices may negotiate over fees for further training. We recognise that a person’s commitment to the work may not be matched by their financial resources. On occasion we will give an apprentice a specific task to perform or suggest a different exchange of some kind in lieu of part of the course fees.
All trainings are done in Co. Waterford, Ireland and finish on the Island of Kaua’i in the Hawaiian Islands. My aim is to transform your being and life supported by the magic and energy of the Hawaiian Islands.
