Hello, my name is Ben Hess, I'm a new "recruit" in the United States Air Force, searching for that elusive "purpose" that has taken me from a town of "hillbillies" to the University of Michigan to my current status as a member of the Armed Forces.
I've always felt physically "isolated" from all the good things that are happening in NLP research, hypnosis, Silva mind control, and now Huna. It seems absolutely fascinating. I have not yet had the ability to experience a seminar in any of these areas... first at the University of Michigan, which has a very "closed mind" to new technologies and understandings, and now here at Keesler AFB, which may be even more closed-minded.
I was wondering if some of the minds on this list could point me to resources in this area. I can always get books, and do drills, and I know I could get much more out of a topic if I had actual person-to-person contact with capable practitioners.
My learning style is more personal. I like to absorb every possible detail of something. I cannot ask a book questions.
Is there anyone in my local area who "practices" (for lack of a better word) Huna or other "disciplines", or any possible seminars in my area? I would appreciate a direct email... I'm not so good at finding lists after I've posted to them.
