The Kahuna who led the Firewalks in Honolulu in 1949, when the Poe Aumakua wanted to bring back the Fire to Huna, could only be held during the daytime, although HRA Charlie Kenn, insisted that it would draw a better audience during the dark. Did this mean that the Kahuna I Ke Umu Ki wasn't really a Kahuna because his Presbyterian Minister forbade it at night?
Mas turned his initiaton from the Firewalk to Prayer, and prayed the TMHG twice a day, every day of his life from 1949 until he died.
The TMHG had letters for help kept in a sacred box. This (the TMHG) was the core of Huna as an "organized religion", where is that prayer box today?
I have been doing the TMHG for over a dozen years now.
Is that active?
I hope that Vinson can find the copy of that letter from Max authorizing me to found Huna as a community based religion, and posts the comments here.
But, really, is that so important?
Otha and his son can prove---have proven my existance with Max in the old HRA. And in his many letters to me.
But I have been the head of a Huna Church for 35 years now, and a full-time Huna Healer and Exorcist for over a dozen years until I retired to write about my experiences in Huna.
Now, soon, the Huna organization I have built up will be opening its first seminary, as Max hoped for, but could not bring into fruition.
I have been trained by Kahuna Nui Max Freedom Long, Kahuna Fred Kimball HRA, Kahuna Betsy Kimball, initiated into Aumakua Therapy (which Max said Huna was incomplete without) wife to HRA Kahuna Beau Kitselman, trained by Kahuna John K. Pollard III, and supplied the photo of Max used in the inside cover of his second book on Huna's, "SELF-PATENTING", John even named his son, "Max" after MFL, and by the loreheir to Kahuna Vern Cameron HRA, Kahuna Bill Cox in the use of the Aurameter, which Kahuna Vern invented but Kahuna Nui Max named.
And of course, Max trained me personally in Psychometric Analysis and the Huna use of the Tarot.
Otha has had me do a PA of him, and I was not only accurate with my reading, but told him where I believed Max had placed him. Otha said I was correct.
Gee Ken, I can't think of any other credentials I have in Huna. Of course there is the HRI's Cwertified Huna Teacher's certificate.
But anything else you can think of, let me know.
BUT understand, all this is as nothing if I couldn't heal, do Huna Exorcisms and after my initiation this mid-October, lead Firewalks.
As Max said, "The proof of the pudding is in the tasting."
