whose teaching of the three selves you were
following. In the Max Freedom Long version dreams
would probably be seen as a place where the lower
and upper selves could communicate and which in a
lucid dream the middle self could also interact.
I suppose the simple answer (though not necessarily
the most accurate one) would be that dreams are
the province of the lower self.
In my own teaching I would tend to think as dreams
being an arena when all three selves could and do
communicate. Then again we have to consider issues
of dreams that take place ALL the time outside of
our daily waking consciousness.
