Is there any evidence of sauna or sweatlodge used by kahunas or the ali'i or normal hawai'ians for religiuos, spiritual cleaning or just for health? Saw a picture of a so called sweatlodge-hale in tgh einternet, but without any detail descriptions. On Big Island was a workshop in connection with lomolomi, which included ANCIENT sauna, but I could get no written details from that source, exept I would travel to USA and take part. Please kokua!
