"Ok I'm curious by what criterion do any of the healers
on here decide that someone is possessed and by what? Then
what exorcism technique do you use? Personal Power?
Kumu"
In the Huna Heiau there is a major difference between a Kahuna `o huna ho`ola (Huna Healing Priest) and the training of the Kahuna `o huna koa (Huna Warrior Priest).
The main difference in the practices is that Arthritis doesn't follow you home at night, nor fight back.
I was trained by my kumu, Kahuna nui `o huna Max Freedom Long, in the Huna Priestcraft of "Psychometric Analysis". He was in turn directly taught by the founder or kumu of the system, Kahuna `o huna Oscar Brunler, MD, FHF.
As far as I know I am the last person alive with a direct genealogy in Psychometric Analysis, and I have now trained two others.
During a PA, if there is a possessing entity, it's consciousness shows up in the reading.
If a Kala (Exorcism) is thus called for, then the transient's body is washed, and prayed and chanted over.
The transient's Aumakua does the actual exorcism. The Kahuna or Priest must be able to communicate with and supply mana to his transient's Aumakua.
Certain herbs are also used in the water the person is washed with. And the water has a blessing breathed into it.
I've done about 200 of them. They have failed to be instantly successful in only three cases I've had.
Aloha,
Lani
PS: I also interested in the modality and use of the Kala by anyone else here.
