It depends on how much into Huna you want to go. As an earlier post talked about asking what Kahuna's were. There were kahuna who specialized in the war arts. There are stories of them pointing at their enemies and shooting out energy at them (Just as an aside, Martial artist Ed Parker who founded American Kenpo, tells of a time when he was a kid and was picking on an old lady and she pointed at him and said something in Hawaiian and knocked him down w/o ever touching him).
