This interactive, web-based course does a superb job of imparting a comprehensive overview of energy-based metaphysics in general and the chakra system in particular. While the e-course is ideally suited for those with little knowledge of the chakras, I personally found it useful both as a review and to add to my own understanding. Polarity teachers who teach about the chakra system will also find it to be an outstanding example of how to present information, which is ephemeral in nature, in such a clear and grounded way. I took the online test at the end of the course before actually going through the course material and was surprised and embarrassed to only score 81%, a little below a passing grade. So much for my first assumption that this was too basic a course for an experienced practitioner!
After accessing the course, you’ll see a menu displaying each aspect of the chakras briefly described in a column on the left. After clicking on the section you wish to view, the larger window on the right opens to that section. Then you will see a presentation of that particular section utilizing graphics in many cases and large text outlining the main points. And at the same time you will hear a high quality voice explanation by Morag of each section, which expands on the major points displayed in print. There are 30 different sections with headings such as “The Caduceus,” “Location of the Chakras,” “Chakras and Elements,” “Bio Circuits” and “Disruptions to the Flow.” The coursework ends with a “Chakra Balancing Video” demonstration by Phil. Following the coursework, students can take the test provided, and, if they pass, they can request and receive a certificate of completion.
The price for the course is $29.95. As of the writing of this review, a special promotional price of $19.99 was available.
